Colour of Shade is the name of Le Dimanche's debut album. Marjolein Kooijman [as a bass player with TG for years now, she doesn't need an introduction], proves to be a real instrumentalist [and vocalist!!] with contributing outstanding guitar parts and soothing vocals. Le Dimanche creates cinematic music, with hints of postrock, jazz and triphop. From beautiful landscapes and dreamy nocturnes upto pitchblack moods with more heavy sounds. The band themselves cites The Cinematic Orchestra, Radiohead, Jaga Jazzist, Oceansize and Massive Attack as important influences.
